Come raise the roof in our recently renovated Sanctuary with the healing power and energizing beats of the drumming circle.

Longtime communal drummer Roy Mueller will guide participants through a communal drumming experience in the sacred space created by the energies of the group itself throughout the course of the evening. No prior drumming or musical experience is required. Participants need not bring a drum, though those who do have their own drums are encouraged to bring them. Other percussive devices will also be available.

You’ll have the opportunity to learn the basics of a communal drumming experience, including:
– Drum circle etiquette and appropriate handling of drums
– Basic stroke and rhythm patterns
– Polyrhythmic drumming patterns

The evening will conclude with a optional spirit journey experience intended to channel the positive energy raised by communal drumming into powerful personal healing.
