How to Build An Appetite for Nourishing Behaviors,
not Negative Ones

With Rev. Janet Johnson

Saturday, September 15

1-4 p.m.

The Joy Diet is bestselling author Martha Beck’s  “menu” of ten behaviors one can add to our way of living and thinking to enhance every day’s journey through the unpredictable terrain of our existence. In this “deliciously” fun and joy-filled workshop, Rev. Janet Johnson gives us an overview of each “menu item” on the Joy Diet, then leads us through a series of exercises and discussions that help us choose those “nourishing” behaviors on the Joy Diet menu instead of the negative ones in our emotional “Junk Diet.”

Having a copy of the book is recommended, not required. Attendees can purchase the Kindle or print version of the book from, and choose Institute for Spiritual Development as your designated organization to receive a portion back from all sales.
