Edgar Cayce is often called the "father of alternative medicine" as well as the "sleeping prophet." His unique gift of providing medical and life advice while in a trance state gave seekers healing and peace. His 14,306 recorded readings, housed at the Association of Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.), are still providing answers for us. Reverend Martha Saenz, ordained as a minister at ISD in 2015, has been a long-time student of Cayce as well as a 30-year member of the A.R.E. She has previously taught Cayce classes at ISD and has served as a psychic reader and healer for many years. Martha grew up as the daughter of a medium who first introduced her to Edgar Cayce's work.
