Inner Authority largerSometimes, we fall and we can’t get up. We get stuck. We get out of alignment with the Source within us. We lose access to our “Inner Authority…”

How can we get up? Get unstuck? Re-align with our Source within? Discover our Inner Authority?

ISD-DC presents the “Inner Authority” workshop series, designed to facilitate expansion of our alignment with the Divine by expanding and strengthening trust in our inner knowing. The series was inspired by a recent homily, which was inspired by the divination card of the same name from the Angelic Messenger Cards: A Divination System for Spiritual Discovery written by Meredith L. Young-Sowers.

“Inner Authority’s” monthly Sunday afternoon sessions will be presented by wellness practitioners from the greater ISD-DC community, each sharing different perspectives and tools for “getting our spiritual groove back.”

The series kicks off with a workshop offered by ISD Sparta Pastor and Director Rev. Kathy Kerston, followed by the ceremonial Shamanic Cord Cutting Ritual led by popular DC-area Spiritual Healer Matthew Tolford. The series will wrap up with a powerful “reclaim my value and worth” session led by social worker and ISD-DC instructor Ava Barron-Shasho.  The third session’s content and instructor will be announced shortly.  ISD-DC members who have recently joined or renewed will receive complimentary admission to two of the four scheduled events from ISD-DC once all events have been attended. For more information, contact Rev. Rob Banaszak at

The Inner Authority Series seeks to advance ISD-DC’s commitment to moving forward in 2018, as we develop activities to consciously cultivate wholeness and well-being with each other so we can be whole and well as a Community!
