Rev. Rob is the Institute for Spiritual Development’s newly appointed Pastor. He has served in many volunteer capacities and was ordained a minister after completing ISD’s ministerial program. He is an inspiring speaker as well as popular and accomplished workshop leader. As the creative editor of the Institute’s colorful digital newsletter he keeps everyone current
with news, upcoming events and new workshops. His previous spiritual community was the Celebration Center of Religious Science in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Rev. Rob has extensive management experience in the communications field with non-profit organizations in the arts, social justice, and gay rights advocacy. He recently founded the SoulFire Consulting Group to counsel businesses, organizations and community groups on how chaplaincy, wellness and mindfulness programs can inspire, create and energize individuals to be the best they can be at work and beyond.
An avid fitness enthusiast, he enjoys long-distance running, and is a certified Spinning instructor at a local D.C. fitness center. He lives with his husband Wade in the landmark building known as “The Watermelon House,” located in the D.C.’s Logan Circle neighborhood.
